Purikura around the world

517 purikura around the world. Japanese photo-sticker booths with beauty filters and doodles, usually found in game arcades.

How it works

  1. Find the purikura floor of the arcade; machines take coins, so bring small change.
  2. Choose a filter style and backdrop, then follow the on-screen countdown for each pose.
  3. Move to the decorating booth to add stamps, text and doodles with the stylus before time runs out.
  4. Your sticker sheet prints in a minute; many machines also send the photos to your phone.
  5. Some arcades only allow groups that include a woman in the purikura area. Check the signs.
