YUEN WEDDING runs private self-photo studios in Japan for wedding, engagement and marriage-registration photos. Couples rent dresses, suits, bouquets and accessories, then shoot themselves with a remote in a booked studio with no photographer present, with staff on hand to explain the setup. All photos are handed over as colour-adjusted digital files on the day.
