What do I pay after the first year?
Short answer
Chalkak OS Core, US$199 a year per booth from year two. It is the only required fee. Beyond that you pay for paper and ink as you use them, and Care+ only if you want a longer warranty.
Core is included with every machine for year one. From year two it is $199 a year per booth.
What Core covers
- The dashboard and remote pricing
- Software updates, alerts and reports
- Standard themes and frames, and uploading your own designs
- Your own music and button sounds
- QR downloads and coupons
- Support in business hours
- Keeping your warranty active
Other running costs
- Paper and ink: about $0.24 a print on the standard printer. See paper and ink costs.
- Care+ (optional): one more year of warranty with express parts, from $450 per booth.
- Enterprise (optional): for groups and brands, $149 a month per account. See Enterprise.
