How do I choose a good location?
Short answer
Look for foot traffic of groups, couples and families, visibility from a distance, nearby activities like cinemas and dessert cafés, and room for a small queue. Stand in the spot for an hour at the busiest time before you sign.
What makes a good spot
- Foot traffic: count people passing in an hour, on a weekday and a weekend.
- Visibility: guests should see the booth, and the prints, from a distance.
- Neighbours: cinemas, karaoke, dessert cafés and arcades send people your way.
- Queue space: room for a small queue and friends watching.
The lease
Malls usually offer a fixed rent, a share of sales, or a mix. A share can be safer when you start. Ask for a short first term, and check who pays for power and internet and whether you can put up signage.
Send us photos and measurements and we will check the spot with you. More in photo booth placement and revenue share.
